The Six Things A Real Wizard Must Have
A Wizard directs his will with focused intent to create a magical transformation. A wizard has many tools to bend reality to his will. Here are six must have items for a wizard to perform real magic.
One: A Tome
You will need a Tome. This is where you will keep all of your magic incantations and potion recipes. You will write all of your magic works in this book of power. In this book you will keep your life’s work. Your tome should never be shown to anyone unless you have an apprentice.
Two: A Staff
You will need a staff. A wizard’s staff is very important it is used like a conductor of your magic. Your power flows through your staff. A staff can be a long stick with a power stone affixed to the end of it. If you live in a wooded area go outside and find a piece of wood to use as your magic staff. The staff will choose you. You will feel the energy of the staff. Once you have chosen a staff you will need to wrap your handle in black tape or clothe tape. You will need wire to wrap your power stone to the top of your staff. Your power stone can also be found outside or if you have a certain stone you want to use you can buy it at a craft store or a magic shop. It would be much cheaper to buy it from a craft store. Remember this is only your first staff it does not have to be perfect it just needs to be able to conduct your magic energies.
Three: Knowledge
You will need to research all forms of magic. You will need to learn all you can about the forces of magic. The greatest wizards of all time have learned to use all types of magic to make them more powerful.
Four: A Familiar
Harry potter the fictional wizard has an owl, many witches have a cat for a familiar. In wizardry a familiar shares its form with a wizard counterpart. The transformation magic is used by many ancient wizard mages.
Five: A Mentor
Many wizards have a mentor. A mentor is a powerful wizard who has a vast amount of ancient knowledge to impart upon a budding apprentice. Since the ancient times wizards have gone through an apprentice training regimen. A mentor is a wise old soul that helps an apprentice wizard down the path of ancient realms of enlightment.
Six: A Wand
A wand is also a conductor of magic much in the same way as a staff. A wand is carried with a wizard at all times. A wand is a symbol of a wizard’s power and controls the natural elements.
These are just a few of the tools a wizard needs but they will help you get started on your magical path. Within magick all things are possible.
